Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks and face shields, sponsored by GPS Plastics, to the Phoenix SAPS on Tuesday morning. The KZN International Business Forum was established to facilitate international business transactions between businesses in KZN and businesses around the world. With the pandemic that now grips the world, the organisation wanted to do their part to help those on the front lines of the fight. Representing the organization, Omie Singh, said, Criminals don’t go on lockdown. The brave men and women of the SAPS are working throughout the lockdown as they are essential in providing the people of our community with safety and security against criminal elements as well as ensuring that the lockdown regulations in place for our protection are followed.

We wished to express our gratitude to the men and women keeping us safe by providing PPE to help protect them against infection.” Brigadier Doctor Bafana Ndlovu, station commander of Phoenix SAPS, thanked the forum for their generous donation. “The wheels of government sometimes move slowly and while we are issued PPE, the processes for receiving them can be long and complicated, as such the kind gesture showed to this station by the KZN International Business Forum is greatly appreciated. With the proper equipment to protect themselves members will be better prepared to protect the people of our community.
